The utilization of the renewable energy have been know many people, therefore to increasing utilized solar energy the effectiveness of the use of solar energy directly of them are in the use of plate solar collector flat as a gatherer of the heat of the sun rays that uses three motorcycles collector by an absorber granite stone with varying thick glass cover consisting of 3 mm , 5 mm and 8 mm. this study aims to find out the influence of the thickness of glass cover a strike against work plate solar collector flat with a tilt 15⁰ facing north. To a measure plate solar collector flat granite an absorber, in this research is 100 centimeters x 80 cm x 10 cm and the arrangement of the water channel pipe in collector will be built parallel copies 7.
