Pengaruh penambahan strip anyaman bambu terhadap kekuatan tarik pada pembuatan plat komposit serat fiber dengan metode vacuum assisted resin infussion (VARI)
Composite is a structure consisting of two or more constituents which combined macroscopically. The combination is not mutually dissolve. Using a polymer as a matrix and fiber reinforcement material in the form of natural bamboo Gigantochloa apus of fiber-shaped cut. The research method begins with molding with size 300 x 250 mm, bamboo cutting as strip reinforcement with 1.5 mm thickness, plain weave type plaiting, composite material manufacturing process with VARI method, thickness of composite material 3 - 4 mm , manufacture of specimens with ASTM D3039 standard with the first variation layers (fiber - woven bamboo - fiber), second variation (fiber - fiber - woven bamboo - fiber - fiber), third variation (fiber - fiber - fiber - woven bamboo - fiber - fiber - fiber), the fourth variation (fiber - fiber - fiber - fiber - woven bamboo - fiber - fiber - fiber - fiber). Furthermore, tensile testing process is used to obtain ultimate tensile strength. The maximum tensile strength values for specimen variation 1 : 34,29 Mpa, varition 2 : 61,53 Mpa, variation 3 : 86,58 Mpa, and variation 4 : 99,37 Mpa.
