The use of a magnetic field on the fuel line pipe is intended to cause ionization in the fuel. The ionization process is needed so that the fuel more easily binds oxygen during the combustion process and reduces the non-combustible hydrocarbon products resulting from the fuel combustion process. In research using neodymium magnets with variation in the number of magnets, namely 10 magnets, 15 magnets, 20 magnets, and variations in distance between magnets namely 0 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm to determine the effect in exhaust emissions and the effect of fuel consumption on Honda Vario 110cc PGM-FI. Use of Hanatecch Ultra 4/5 Gas Analyzer as a designation of the level of exhaust emissions of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide produced.In testign fuel consumption using a burette and stopwatch to determine fuel consumption when the engine is working. The use of magnetic fields in the fuel channel has an effect on decreasting the exhaust emissions of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. The results of the study showed that the use of magnetization device with increasing amounts and the addition of distance between magnet resulted in a greater influence on the reduction of exhaust emissions. The use of magnetic fields cannot reduce fuel consumption becaus the injection system of mixed air and fuel is regulated by EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) and ECU (Electronic Control Unite) to get the ideal mixture.
