Unjuk Kerja Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro Turbin Air Tipe Cross Flow Dengan Variasi Bentuk Sudu

Microhydro power plants are one of the efforts to overcome the fuel crisis that is used by fossil fuels used for vehicle, household and industrial fuel needs. Utilization of new renewable energy (EBT) in Indonesia is still not optimal. Because of this, new energy solutions that can be agreed upon are needed, one of which is the Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHP). This PLTMH study uses a cross flow water turbine with variations in blade shape, namely semicircular blade, triangle and box. Where the volume of each variation of the shape of the blade is 5,192,775 mm3. This research was conducted on a channel held by rice fields in Suralaga Village, East Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study is to study the purpose of turbine blade shape on the performance of MHP. The performance shown is: power turbines, tip speed ratios, power generators, torque turbines and generators, turbine efficiency, and efficiency generators. While the height used in this study is still 0.69 mm with the velocity of the air at the constant constant of 4.6 m / s. The results of the study prove the form of blade towards the performance of micro hydro power plants. The biggest performance is produced in the shape of the box blade, where the maximum value of turbine torque is 17.31 Nm at 67.10 rpm, turbine power is 121.60 Watt, highest performance coefficient is 0.112 at tip speed ratio of 0.489, power generator is 50 , 64 Watts on 2 lamp loads, generator torque of 0.81 Nm, turbine efficiency is 11.16% and generators efficiency is 25,58%. Whereas the lowest performance is obtained in the semicircular blade shape which produces the maximum value of the turbine at 16.94 Nm at 54.80 rpm, turbine power that is 97.15 Watt, performance coefficient of 0.089 on tip speed ratio 0.399, power generator 39, 25 Watts on 2 lamp loads, generator torque of 0.69 Nm, turbine efficiency of 8.91% and generators efficiency of 25,82%. From the results obtained the shape of the box blade consists of the most efficient blade shape to use.
