Implementasi IoT Pada Sistem Pemeliharaan Tanaman Cabai

Abstract- Horticulture commodities, especially chili, have been cultivated for a long time by farmers and even non-farmers because this product can be used for various food needs such as the daily menu. Cultivation of chili plants requires special attention because if it does not get good conditions, this plant cannot grow properly. If the light and soil factors are not considered, it will harm the growth of chili plants themselves. While it is known that Indonesia is a tropical climate country. In the dry season, which needs to be noticed, the conditions of temperature and humidity of the soil, while in the rainy season, you need to pay attention to the adequacy of temperature and light.This research was conducted to facilitate the maintenance of chili plants in polybags automatically by checking the temperature, the time, the weather humidity sensor, the soil moisture sensor, and the light intensity sensor. This research is expected to help plant owners to monitor the condition of the soil moisture, the temperature humidity and the light intensity of plants in long distances. This research was conducted by implementing IoT in a system using three sensors, namely soil moisture, DHT11, and LDR. The results of this study are that chili plants can grow well with a value of 50-70% soil moisture, an average humidity value of 64 and getting enough light for 12 hours per day
