Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Akademik Dengan Menggunakan Metode Rational Unified Process

Abstract- Al-Madina Academy Kindergarten is one of
the educational levels for children in Provinsi West Nusa
Tenggara. Education is a means to advance human
resources. So, to realize progress in the world of
education, a tool is needed to manage data such as report
card value data, consultation messages, and learning
schedules. This tool can later be used to control student
activities in schools so that the results of information can
be conveyed immediately and the monitoring process can
run effectively due to direct communication between the
school and the parents. This system can be executed
online by the school and parents. With this system, it is
hoped that schools will be able to process data efficiently
and help speed and quality in conveying information. To
support website development, the Rational Unified
Process (RUP) method is used which can help in the
system development process. The RUP method is an
object-oriented website development method, this method
was chosen because it has flexibility in the development
process. The perspective that will be used is Dynamic
Perspective and Lifecycle Phases. Testing of the system
built was tested using standards on the aspects of
functional suitability and usability. In testing the
functional suitability aspect, it was carried out with 3
users which obtained results of 1 which means that all
system features are running correctly. In the results of
the usability test conducted by 30 respondents, a value of
87.46% was obtained so that in accordance with the value
of the usability eligibility category that in the range of 81-
100 it was classified into a very feasible category. So that
the RUP method is the right method for system
development.
